Smart Pet Fusion

Crystal and pet model fusion is an exception to other fusions and the parent aren’t always able to come out. All the rules from the normal fusion that would make an outcome impossible also applies to the parents. That is to say, it is not possible to get a pet which has a level of 61 or higher in wild, is a rare pet, level of 41-60 while the average of the parent pets is 40 or lower through crystals or pet models. So, if one of the parent pet is 61 or above, it cannot come out as a result. Therefore, this can be used as an advantage while trying to get a specific element and species through fusion.

For example, we want to make a Black Poker (level 46 in wild) by using a dark crystal. We can use any of the Pokers that are available in the wild (wood, water, light, earth and metal pokers all exist in wild, whereas dark and fire element are fuse only), and a dark pet which has a level of 61 or above. So, in this case, we can use a Dark Spirit. Dark Spirit’s level in the wild is 62-66, and so, when we fuse it with, let’s say a Wooden Infantry, we can never get a Dark Spirit as a result. Once we have both pets, we can do it in the following steps: 1. Talk to the NPC to fuse pets.

2. Confirm that we want to fuse pets.

3. Now choose the paternal pet. You can choose them in whatever order you like; it's just for remembering from which pet we want to inherit the attribute.

4. Now the maternal pet.

5. Since this is a crystal fusion, we can only inherit the element ("attribute"), so we need to select the first option.

6. We want to make a Dark Infantry, and so, we must inherit the attribute/element of the Dark Spirit, which in this case is the maternal pet.

7. Confirm that everything so far is correct. Note: Since we’re using a dark crystal, we cannot get a wood pet as a result either, so the resulting pet must be of the dark element, but we have already ensured that Dark Spirit cannot come out. Therefore, the only result that is possible is a Black Poker. In case the system does not achieve that result, the NPC will refuse to fuse the pets and give back the items, and in that case, just repeat the process until it performs the fusion with the same items until you get the desired result. This is the error it will give you:

9. And here's the Dark Infantry we were hoping to make.

The above process is based on the following calculation: A level 56 Wood Infantry and a level 62 Dark Spirit are being used, thus the possible outcome will be: (Paternal Lv + Maternal Lv)/2 ≧ 41 (56+62)/2= 59 Minimum wild level of Dark Spirit is 62 and thus cannot possibly come out as result. Minimum wild level of Black Poker is 46, since the average of the level is above 41, this is a possible outcome. Same principle applies to pet model fusions as well.
