Controlling Everything in a Fusion - Picture Explanation
You are able to control everything using a Life Core.

You also need 5k coins to complete the Fusion.
Paternal - Desired Element
Maternal - Desired Species and Desired Str/Str growth
Next you are required to choose how you are doing the Fusion. In this case "Life Core" you are choosing "I want to inherit everything from the parent".
Your option is to choose which pet to infuse the "Attribute" from. The "Attribute" equals Element. In this case we want the element to be Dark (Paternal:) Our dark lion.
Choose the species you are desiring in this case (Cat) or (Lion), we are choosing the Maternal pet (Fire Cat)
You are now given the option: to choose the upgradability (growth) of the "Paternal" or "Maternal" Considering we are doing a Str/Str fuse based on the Wild Cat (Fire Cat) and its growth is Str/Str. The option you will choose is the "Maternal".
Now you Pray That you did everything properly.
And the Results are Black Cat, Str/Str Growth (You can't see it here but after leveling it a few levels it is growing in Str more so than anything else)
With a Life Core you have the option to fully control the desired species / element / and growth and if you do it properly you will recieve something similar to the above.
